Heads up - a new version of Stimulus Watch has gone live, which you can find at www.stimuluswatch.org.

Just one look when you search "Illinois" spending, and you'll see the total cost of all projects submitted by Illinois equals $6,441,250,721.14.

The original site featured proposed stimulus projects taken from the U.S. Conference of Mayors survey, but the new version contains actual stimulus spending in your neighborhood. The data was retrieved from recipient reports at Recovery.gov and will be updated quarterly when Recovery.org provides new data.

Search for contracts and grants awards by state and city, by awarding agency or recipient. Vote on awards, add Wiki descriptions to projects, and join in on conversations about the award in the comments section. Keyword searching will be coming soon.
