This week, the Illinois Policy Institute unveiled a 59-point plan to save $2.7 billion from Medicaid without rate cuts or tax hikes. The plan was presented at a statehouse press conference by Institute CEO John Tillman, senior fellow John Stephen and endorsed by Sen. Kyle McCarter. Sens. Darin LaHood and Sam McCann joined us at the press conference to lend support for the plan.
