Join the Illinois Policy Institute, the Heartland Institute, America’s Future Foundation and the Reason Individualism Freedom Institute for a cocktail hour with economist and author John Blundell. He will discuss how women have played an intrinsic role in the movement for liberty and his friendship with Lady Thatcher. In addition to acting as director-general of London's Institute of Economic Affairs, which was recently described by the BBC's Andrew Marr as "undoubtedly the most influential think tank in modern British history," Blundell is the author of “Margaret Thatcher: A Portrait of the Iron Lady” and “Ladies For Liberty: Women Who Made a Difference in American History.” Copies of his books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
