On Wednesday, April 15, the Illinois Policy Institute hosted the award-winning author of The Forgotten Man, Amity Shlaes. 

Held in the 40th floor library of 190 South LaSalle, the event featured an engaging discussion regarding the implications of the Great Depression and its accompanying New Deal policies.   A crowd of 100 guests joined us for cocktails, conversation, a book signing, and a thought-provoking and fun event!
