Justin Hegy is the marketing coordinator at the Illinois Policy Institute. Before joining the Institute in 2013, Justin spent several years as a labor relations specialist within Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, serving as a management representative in arbitrations, negotiations, grievance hearings, impact bargaining, and other activities.

Justin graduated with a M.A. in public policy from Western Illinois University in 2010 and a B.A. in political science in 2008. Justin has worked as a research associate for Western Survey Research Center, a business analyst for HSP Direct, and a policy outreach worker for former U.S. Representative Judy Biggert from Illinois’s 13th District.
