On our transparency website, IllinoisOpenGov.org, I found that in 2008, the Department of Public Health had expenses for telephone interviews for the CDC totaling $551,895.96. The vendor for the charges was Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Click here to see an article from the CDC’s website regarding telephone interview plans for 2008.
