A Wicked Political Pivot
The election in Massachusetts was shocking. Are the right people shocked?

Sarah Palin, working as a Fox News contributor, called the election result last night in Massachusetts, “”A wicked political pivot.””
Democrats are calling it a local race, saying that the results do not reflect the mood of the nation.
I talked to WRKO, Boston talk show host and long time acquaintance of Scott Brown, Todd Feinburg.
Asked how much of the campaign and it’s result was about Scott Brown, as opposed to the issues, Feinburg says that it was both, but that Brown was, “”an immensely appealing candidate, who ran a campaign that should be a template for anyone running in other states where it will be even easier for a Republican to win.””
Brown set himself up, Feinburg says, as a symbol of the people – against the machine – and a conduit through which the people’s voice could be heard.
