Arizona Sells State Buildings

$735 million from state sale.

Arizona sold some of its state buildings on Wednesday and made $735 million in change, according to The Arizona Republic. The two-day sale went so well lawmakers are planning on another round, hoping to bring in an additional $300 million.

Perhaps Illinois should take a look at Arizona’s approach to selling state assets, trim down, and bring in some money in order to pay off some of its budget deficit.
