The Department of Employment Security has spent over $3,000 on membership fees for local chambers of commerce.

Using our new transparency website, IllinoisOpenGov.org, I found that in 2008 and 2009(up until the time of our FOIA requests), the
Department of Employment Security spent $3,570.25 on dues for regional
chambers of commerce.
