Donald Conkey | Development Associate

Donald serves our Development team by supporting donor relations and prospecting for new fundraisers.

An Illinois native, Donald became involved in politics during Governor Rauner’s 2014 campaign. After studying politics at Southern Methodist University, he moved to Washington, D.C. and worked in the federal government for US DFC, our nation’s development finance agency. From there he was hired as Staff Assistant to Congresswoman Nancy Mace on Capitol Hill. Inspired by his time interning for the Institute, he is dedicated to growing its impact across Illinois.
