Will Weicher | Board Member


William Weicher is a practicing corporate attorney with broad experience in complex transactions, governance, and commercial and regulatory matters.  William built a distinguished legal career advising clients on a variety of matters at the intersection of law, business and the regulatory environment, first in private practice at Sidley Austin LLP and, currently, as a general advisory attorney at a leading global producer of agricultural products.

William is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and earned his J.D. and M.B.A. from Georgetown University.  He brings to the Illinois Policy Institute Board of Directors a deep commitment to the rule of law and thoughtful, principled leadership grounded in private-sector experience.

William lives in Glen Ellyn with his wife, Meg, and their six children, William, Daniel, Theresa, Helen, Oliver and Lawrence.
