Illinois Supreme Court Candidate Forum: Join us March 8

This event is hosted by hosted by the Liberty Justice Center (LJC), the Illinois Policy Institute

Join us on Thursday, March 8, for an Illinois Supreme Court Justice candidate forum, hosted by the Liberty Justice Center (LJC), the Illinois Policy Institute’s public-interest law firm. LJC uses litigation to protect economic liberty, private property rights, free speech and other fundamental rights in Illinois and beyond.

Candidates Justice Joy Cunningham, Justice Aurelia Pucinski, Judge John Riley and Thomas Flannigan will be sharing their views and judicial philosophy on property rights, economic freedom and the constitutional bounds of government action in the economy. Professor Todd Henderson of the University of Chicago Law School and Joseph A. Morris, Chicago attorney and former U.S. Assistant Attorney General, are also confirmed panelists. Patrick J. Hughes, advisor to LJC, will be moderating the debate.
