Vote ‘no’ on Amendment 1

At the top of your ballot is Amendment 1: a property tax hike in disguise.

Illinois already has the second-highest property taxes in the nation. Unless voters reject Amendment 1 on Nov. 8, property taxes will get worse. Amendment 1, at the top of your November ballot, would drive up the cost of government by giving unelected government union bosses the power to demand whatever they want in public contracts.

Amendment 1 is a tax hike in disguise. Sign the pledge to vote “no” on Amendment 1.
