Chicago Side Street Clean Up
Five days ago the Blizzard of 2011 left over 20 inches of snow, shut down the largest artery in Chicago, and left the city’s side streets submerged in snow, we took a look at how well the city cleaned up the neighborhood streets of Chicago.
The Snow Squad was out Sunday afternoon capturing photographs of twenty side streets throughout the city in neighborhoods including Roscoe Village, UIC Medical District, Lakeview, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, and River East.
After the 3rd largest snowstorm in the city’s history, Chicago performed well. We saw significant improvement in the accessibility of side roads. Check out what we saw below!
