On January 18th, the Village of Hoffman Estates unanimously approved a resolution paving the way for all personnel costs to be posted online. The trustees gave the village staff 3-weeks to post the information online. The document now posted online was dated for the very next day, January 19th. Further proving the point that transparency is easy once you decide to do it.
Checking the website we were able to easily find a link to the new salary information. The salary information came in searchable format. The document included the following information:
- Name
- Department
- Current Job Class Title
