Joshua Nicklin | Major Gifts Officer

Joshua Nicklin is a Major Gifts Officer with the Illinois Policy Institute. He connects philanthropic individuals with the Institute to be the drivers of change in Springfield and Chicago to create greater opportunity and prosperity for Illinois.

Prior to joining the Institute, Joshua was an entrepreneur and executive having worked in various industries based in Ann Arbor, MI; Cincinnati, OH; and Chicago, IL. Much of his work focused on fundraising, startups and sales.

Nicklin is active in his community, serving as a security and emergency preparedness specialist. He is an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and has served as a religious instructor for nearly 20 years.

Joshua earned his B.A. in Political Science at the University of Michigan.
