Katie Crain | Policy Intern

Katie is a recent graduate of Hillsdale College, where she earned a degree in Rhetoric & Public Address. Guided by a conviction that civic engagement is both a privilege and a responsibility, she is committed to advancing policies that serve the public good. Her experience includes research and writing for think tanks from Florida to Washington, D.C., with a focus on issues such as government accountability and education. She currently serves as a policy intern with Illinois Policy Institute’s Center for Poverty Solutions. Following her internship, Katie will begin her role as Legislative and Policy Director at Wisconsin Family Action, where she will focus on policy issues related to faith, family, and freedom.
