Shaw Carlson is a Policy Intern at the Illinois Policy Institute. Having lived in Illinois his entire life, he cares deeply for the issues affecting his home state. Shaw is entering his fourth year at the University of Chicago where he is pursuing a B.A. in Economics and a M.A. in Political Economy.
