The Illinois Policy Institute’s award-winning marketing team is seeking young talent to champion Illinois’ comeback story.
For 8-12 weeks, you’ll work in our Chicago office alongside our writers, editors, designers, community managers and animators as a member of our team.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Write articles related to Illinois’ jobs climate, taxation, criminal justice reform and more
- File Freedom of Information Act requests to uncover government data not available to the general public
- Tell stories of Illinoisans affected by public policy issues
- Fact-check research from Institute policy experts
The position will pay $15 an hour for 29.5 hours per week.
Qualified applicants will have excellent writing skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude.
