Rep. Bost Files Good Fix to Spending Limit

The amendment from Rep. Bost addresses many of the flaws with the proposed spending limit.

Rep. Mike Bost — who’s been a strong voice for making sure that the public has a chance to speak out on spending reform — has just filed a good amendment to HJRCA 61 (the Madigan spending limit).

His amendment addresses the major flaws and loopholes found in HJRCA 61. With this amendment in place, taxpayers have many good reasons support the spending limit.

He also introduced the Pension Funding & Fairness Act, which would provide a comprehensive solution to controlling spending, protecting taxpayers, paying down debt, building a rainy day fund, and providing relief to taxpayers.
